There Are 2 Kinds of Coaches Now: The Ones Who Guess About Their Clients, and the Ones Who Hand Them a Written Map of Exactly What They're Built to Do, and NOT Built to Do

It's called a Structural Architecture: a written diagnostic of your client, computed by 7 systems that never met them. No questionnaire. No interview. Nothing to game, flatter, or fake.

An invitation to established coaches and consultants to supply it as an Authorized Temporal Intelligence Provider. Enrollment is by application. Acceptance is free, and it cannot be bought.

There are 232,000 coaches in the US right now, in an industry that has more than doubled since 2016, and nearly every one of them is selling the same thing: a conversation.

Skilled conversations, a lot of them. Hard-won ones. But a buyer can't see the skill from the outside. What they can see is that every coach they meet is asking for the same act of faith: believe my opinion, pay for my opinion, and stay with me long enough for my opinion to prove out.

You've watched what that's done to the market. Certifications multiplied. Frameworks blurred together. Prospects got more skeptical, and the best coaches got harder to tell apart from the merely confident ones.

This letter is about the first way I know of for a working coach to step out of that lineup entirely. A written instrument. A diagnostic report on your client, computed by 7 systems, that puts in black and white what you used to have to argue for. You hand it to them. They read it. And from that day forward, you are the coach in your market who doesn't guess.

First, a filter, so I don’t waste your time. This letter is written for a working coach or consultant with a client roster that already exists. If you’re still building toward your first clients, there’s nothing here you can use yet, and you should stop reading with my blessing and come back when there are people waiting on your calendar.

Everyone still reading is running a business, and I’m going to write to you like it. You want a practice that’s worth more to your clients and worth more to you, and there’s nothing to be coy about in that. What I won’t do is put a number on it. I’ve never seen your rates, your roster, or your market, and any letter that hands you an income projection for a business it has never looked at is guessing at you. I’d rather be the one that doesn’t, so you won’t find an income figure anywhere on this page.

What it costs you is on this page, and it’s one number. Everything after that is yours: you set the price, we never see it, and we never compete with you for your client. What I can tell you about is the instrument, and what it does in the room between you and your client.

Before the instrument itself, one line from someone who had 80 years of evidence to check it against.

“I have my whole life to validate everything that you’re saying.”

Nobody quoted on this page was paid to say anything.

“Having experienced my own Temporal Intelligence Structural Architectural read, I found it to be one of the most exciting, fearful, vulnerable, and engaging experiences I’ve had. My report was very much in alignment with the results of the report both personally and professionally; however, what I learned about the micro-shifts that could compound my results was absolutely priceless! I’m using the report daily, weekly, and monthly - to guide and advise me to make quality decisions and take the right actions at the right times. As a result, I’ve obtained so much clarity for the next steps in my business, my relationships, and my wellness, along with how and when to strategize, create, plan, promote, and deliver. I’m also providing this read to all of my clients to help me guide them from the start, without resistance, to multiply their results faster and with more clarity.”

The instrument

It's called a Structural Architecture. It's a written diagnostic report on one person: how they are wired, what they are built to do, and what they are structurally not built to do, computed from their birth data across 7 systems that never met your client.

Your client never fills out a questionnaire. The report is computed from birth data. It cannot be gamed, flattered, or faked, and your client knows that the moment they read it.

Here's the part that will matter most to you. Every engagement starts with a discovery phase: the sessions you spend mapping who this client actually is before the real work can begin. Your instincts are good, and they've always carried that phase. This tool deletes it. The map arrives in writing before your first session, from 7 systems that had no access to your notes, your intake, or your opinion, and you start coaching from session 1 with the wiring already on the table.

“It’s like when you go to a doctor with a host of symptoms, and they diagnose the major health issue, which then explains the plethora of symptoms.”
A client, describing what the report did

Her metaphor, not ours. Your client has been living in the symptoms.

What happens when a client reads it

The first thing most clients say is not "thank you." It is "oh thank God, it's not my fault." You will be in the room for that, and they will remember you were.

Client after client says some version of "that's exactly me" out loud. One threw her hands in the air and shouted YES.

And here is the moment I want you to picture, because it is the reason this letter exists. You hand your client the report, and you watch them read the exact thing you have been telling them for months, and finally believe it, because this time it did not come from you alone.

You've earned that moment 100 times. You've just never had a witness.

Some others who have sat with this report:

"You have never felt so seen and known as a human."
Jennifer K. Hill

That is what your client says about the thing YOU handed them.

"Every business owner needs this."
Jen Du Plessis · 14X bestselling author

Your clients are business owners.

"Mind-blowing."
Tammy Lawman · 17 years in the industry

Fluent in several of these systems separately, she had never seen them computed from one fixed input, about her. Her word.

A client who had paid 6 figures into a famous marketing program said our first reports were worth more.

One reader called it "the security briefing the president gets." On your client. His words, not ours.

A working coach, about his own practice: "You just increased the value of the work I do with people, having this report."

And one client came off her delivery call saying "I've got 3 people I want you to see." Imagine that moment happening in YOUR practice, on every delivery.

There is a ceiling on testimony, and the section above just hit it. Every person quoted there is describing a document you have not read. And a report on a private client is the one thing we can never show you, which leaves you taking our word for the most important part.

So we published 4 of them in full, on people whose lives you can check.

Warren Buffett, 47 pages. Dolly Parton, 45 pages. Steve Jobs, 37 pages. Martha Stewart, 36 pages. Complete Structural Architectures, nothing excerpted and nothing withheld, sitting on this site right now. No email, no form, no purchase, no sign-in. Every file opens in your browser.

Take the one whose career you know the most about. Read the section on what that person is structurally not built to do, and hold it against the parts of their life that went badly. That is the hardest test I can hand you, and it is exactly why those files are public instead of gated. If the report does not survive it, you have saved yourself an application.

Don’t go read them yet. They will still be there when you finish, and I would rather you read the rest of this letter first and then go try to break it. The links are at the bottom of this page, and in the menu at the top if you can’t wait.

What it does to your coaching

The report names your client's constraint up front, so your coaching starts where it used to end at month 6.

With your client's consent, the full report arrives in your hands too: 7 systems' worth of client intelligence, in writing, before your next session. You will know how your client is wired more precisely than any intake process could ever tell you.

The report also comes with a don’t list: what your client is structurally not built to do. Brian Muka, unprompted, on what that list did for his own practice:

“I can’t express to you the value of the don’t list. ... You do this report, don’t do this shit with the people in the don’t list. That may be your favorite modality, but it’s not going to work for them. ... This report changes all of that. So the speed to breakthrough is rapidly increased. We’re spending time in the realm of possible instead of the break-your-face ramming through this wall you’re never going to get through.”
Brian Muka · coach and facilitator · former military bomb technician

That is a bomb technician telling you which walls not to run at. Read the last sentence again and count the sessions it describes.

Put simply: you stop being a coach with an opinion and become a coach with an instrument.

And the moment you hand a client their Structural Architecture, you become their most trusted advisor. Nobody fires their most trusted advisor.

The arrangement, stated plainly

  1. You apply. Acceptance costs nothing. There is no setup fee, no registration fee, no subscription, no required tool, and no minimum order.
  2. On acceptance, you hold the title of Authorized Temporal Intelligence Provider. The title means you may supply these reports to your own clients.
  3. On acceptance, 1 Redemption Certificate is placed in your account. Nothing is owed on it and nothing is expected in return for it. Run that one on yourself. Our Program Terms say so in as many words, at 9.5: you may redeem a certificate you hold on yourself, or on anyone else, however you wish. Whoever enters the code is the person the report gets built about, so enter it yourself and the report is about you, at the same depth your client's would be, on the one life you can check every line against. 1 per Provider.
  4. When you decide a client should have one, you buy a Redemption Certificate for $500. Buy it the day you need it, or keep a few in your account so one is already there when the moment comes. Any quantity, from 1 upward. Certificates never expire.
  5. You give the certificate to your client inside whatever package you choose, at whatever price you choose. Your pricing is your business, in both senses.
  6. Your client enters the code, provides their birth details, and we build the report and send it to them in 3 to 5 business days. Your calendar does not move.
  7. On that same page, your client is asked whether we may send the full copy to you as well. That consent is the door to everything in the section above.
Redemption Certificate
$500
any quantity, from 1 upward · never expires
You are never required to buy anything, at any time. If you never place an order, you are still an Authorized Provider, and the certificate that came with your acceptance is still yours to spend however you like.

A certificate is the only inventory I know of that can’t go bad. It never expires, it costs nothing to hold, and it doesn’t sit in a garage. Some Providers buy one the day they need it. Others keep a few in the account, so when a client asks, the answer is “I already have one for you” instead of “let me look into it.” Both work. Neither is required, and nobody at this end is counting.

This is the first premium deliverable you can sell that costs you zero delivery hours. You sell it Tuesday, we build it in 3 to 5 business days, and your week stays yours.

One purchase pulls all 3 growth levers of a practice at once: it raises what an engagement is worth, gives you a client-acquisition story no competitor has, and builds in a natural quarterly re-engagement reason.

And here is everything we will not do:

06 / 09

How you sell it is yours

We are not going to hamstring how you run your practice. No required script, no mandated sequence, no method you have to adopt, and nothing you have to unlearn. Your method is what your clients came to you for. This drops into it wherever you decide it belongs, and it changes nothing about how you already work. Step 5 up there is where this stops being our program and starts being your practice.

What you charge inside your own packages is entirely yours: we never see it, never touch your client's money, and never compete with you for the client.

And how the certificate reaches your client is just as open. You could build it into your flagship package as the deliverable that anchors the whole engagement. You could make it the first thing a new client receives, so the work starts with the map already on the table. You could make it the instrument behind a quarterly check-in, or the reason a conversation with a client you haven't spoken to in a year reopens, or the thing you reserve for your longest-standing client when they ask what's next.

For what it's worth, here's how WE sell it when someone comes to us directly: $2,000, with a live 1:1 call attached to walk them through the report. That's our way of doing it, offered purely as illustration. We're not about to tell you how to run your business. The possibilities are endless, and my guess is you already had 2 or 3 ideas of your own before you finished the last paragraph.

07 / 09

Why you can't just buy this

You cannot buy your way in. Acceptance is free, and money will not speed it up. The title is unpurchasable.

That's deliberate, and it comes with a warning label. The Authorized Provider title is a supply permission: it says you may put a Structural Architecture in your own clients' hands, and it starts meaning something the day a client of yours redeems a certificate against it. Not a day before. To be plain about the other side of that: you are never required to buy anything, at any time, and if you never order you are still an Authorized Provider. And it earns its status in a client’s hands rather than on a wall, which is a higher bar than a certificate, not a lower one: a certificate says what you studied, and this says what you can hand somebody. I wrote this letter for the coach who read the proof section above with a specific client's face in front of them, and who already knows whose hands the first report belongs in.

08 / 09

The part I'd want to know if I were you

Now, about ChatGPT, because your clients are already in there, asking it the questions they used to pay you for.

Here's what nobody tells them. ChatGPT is a people-pleaser by design. It gets paid in attention, and the way you keep a person typing is you agree with them. So it agrees. It flatters. It validates. It tells your client their worst idea has real potential, because agreeable answers keep people typing. Your client is sitting in an applause machine.

A Structural Architecture cannot kiss anyone's ass. There is no chat window to charm and nothing to perform for. It's computed from your client's birth data, through proprietary software, calculators, engines, and roughly 30 specialized AI agents that build the report and check it, across 7 systems that could not care less how your client wants to be seen. Putting that next to a chatbot is putting a supercomputer next to an abacus. Both technically count. Nobody serious puts them in the same sentence.

And even the report is just the map. It takes a coach to drive a client anywhere with it. That part was never in danger from a machine that agrees with everybody.

Which brings us back to where this letter started. There are 232,000 coaches selling the same conversation, and somebody in your market is going to hold this instrument first. The only question is whether their clients used to be yours.

There are 2 kinds of coaches now: the ones who guess about their clients, and the ones who hand them the written map of what they're built to do, and NOT built to do. You get to be the second kind.

09 / 09

Apply for the Authorized Provider title

The decision in front of you is smaller than this letter makes it feel. You're deciding whether to fill out a free application. That's all. It costs nothing, it obligates you to nothing, and acceptance never carries a purchase requirement of any kind.

But don't confuse small with unimportant. Everything above this line is somebody else's evidence: their words, their reports, their lives. Acceptance is where that stops. A Redemption Certificate is placed in your account, you enter the code yourself, and in 3 to 5 business days you are reading the same document a client of yours would receive, at full depth, about you. Nothing is owed on it. What you do with that afterwards is your call, and it always was.

Apply to Become An Authorized Provider

Waiting is the part that costs. Your clients are in the applause machine tonight. Every engagement you open without the map spends discovery sessions you never get back. And somebody in your market will be the first coach to hand a client this report: the sort into 2 kinds of coaches is already running, and the application only decides which side you finish on.

If this letter wasn't written about your practice, no hard feelings, and I wish you nothing but the best either way.

Ric Thompson

P.S.

You have not read one of these on yourself. No amount of other people's testimony fixes that, and holding out until you have is the correct instinct. Acceptance is what settles it: a Redemption Certificate lands in your account, you enter the code yourself, and the report that comes back is about you, at full depth, with nothing owed on it. After that you will know exactly what you would be handing a client, because you will have been one. The application takes minutes and it's free, and the sort into 2 kinds of coaches is running while you think it over. Apply now.

P.P.S.

If you are not going to apply today, do one thing before you close this page. Open one of the 4 published reads: Martha Stewart, Steve Jobs, Dolly Parton, or Warren Buffett, complete, free, and with nothing asked of you. It is the only part of this letter you do not have to take my word for. Read them here.
